No new updates recently, not even a chance to write my game review. Though some of my university work is now up on the site, I still have yet to upload the rest but I will do so when I find the time.

I’m getting pretty excited about my Play 2 Create unit this semester, I have chosen to create an interactive piece of work based on one of my personal favourite movies ‘V for Vendetta’ I’ve just ordered the graphic novel so I can get a real feel for the story and really immerse myself in the narrative and make something that will accurately portray the themes contained within the story.

I’m hoping to complete my Rogue Galaxy game this weekend so I can get a review up, I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying the game which surprised me given is linear narrative. but I will tell more when I make the write up.

That’s all really for now I have been buried in work for the past 2 weeks but hopefully I will have more to say next time.

Back from the depths of the real world. Well here we are semester 2 has just begun and the charge towards dissertation time, I will put up my results for semester 1 as I get them in.

I recieved my essay results on my essay, 70%! not bad. I was very happy with this, just gotta wait for the others to come in and see how on track I am this year, things are looking okay though. While the semester is not too heavy I might take this oppourtunity to post up some game reviews, so I can work on my writing style that I will oh so sorely need for this year :(. I’m not sure what to write about as of yet but due to my passion for games I may start off with an easy one, but hey we will see how it goes.

On an unrelated note I have uploaded one of my final presentations for my design ethics unit. please take a look at it if you get the time.

It was very fun to make and hopefully you will learn a few things about advertising. If the programseems a bit vague to you I shouldn’t worry too much,It was originally intended for me to give a long winded presentation over it going into greater depth.

well I spose that will do for now, I have to go apply for work experience in my local area now and “research” into the game I will be reviewing soon.
